This latest update introduces a few new features:
Support for WordPress 2.9’s post thumbnails.
Option to show the post date.
Option to show the comment count.
Option to set the word length of the excerpt.
Note that support for Simple Post Thumbnails has been removed in favor of the built in functionality.
