I had to decide between USC (sunny California, half-tuition scholarship, perfect fit with the engineering program) and Carnegie Mellon (Pittsburgh?)... took me until the last minute, looking at webpages for both, to pick CMU. What I like about CMU is that it's really good for engineering and also good for its other liberal arts programs (like Japanese and architecture) so it's a good balance for me.
