So Steve Jobs did his little keynote today. Dropped a few bombshells as usual. iPhone anyone? I must say, bravo Apple. This is the first product you’ve made that has impressed me. Now you need to make your products affordable.
One interesting thing I noticed is that they’re actually calling this a widescreen iPod. Is the iPhone the widescreen iPod that has been rumored for who knows how long?

- Multi-touch screen navigation
- OS X operating system
- 4GB or 8GB of storage
- Quad-band GSM
- 802.11 b/g, EDGE, and Bluetooth 2.0
- 2.0 megapixel camera

I just think it’s magical that they can have Mac OS X running in this little device… sure it’s a stripped dowm version, but I still find it amazing.
I’m really excited about this new product… not that I’m gonna buy it in the future… it’s so darn expensive! But I’ll definitely keep an eye on it.
Yeah, it’s a pretty sleek device. It’s enormous though! If dwarfs my current phone and it has terrible battery life. “Up to 5 hours.”
An impressive piece of gadgetry? Affordable and practical? Not really.
